Today I repeated the same experience from yesterday during my bike ride

I didn't expect that the weather could be even colder than yesterday. Of course, I checked the weather forecast before going out, so I decided to wear an extra light zip-up hoodie. I thought it should be enough, especially because the sun was out. But it wasn't enough to keep me warm, because the wind was still strong and cold. Maybe it was even stronger than yesterday, but I only really noticed it when I was already far enough from home. At that point, I didn't want to turn back, so I just continued riding. I thought that when I got deeper into the trees, it should feel much warmer because they could protect me from the wind.

And I was right about the trees. It actually felt better when I was riding among them. But my route also went through open areas and between fields where there was basically nothing around. There wasn't really anywhere to hide from the wind, and even from the rain if it started. So, once again, I ended up freezing while riding through those open areas. It wasn't a very comfortable part of the ride, but at least I had something good from it. I could stop from time to time and take some satisfying photos, which made me feel that the ride wasn't just about spending my time outside.

Also, I noticed one thing during the last two days. The closer it gets to the evening, the better the weather seems to become. The wind becomes much quieter, the clouds start disappearing, and everything feels more peaceful. But the temperature still stays low, though. So, even if it doesn't actually become much warmer, the evening still feels much more comfortable than the middle of the day.
