Today is my eighth day in Thailand — I arrived in Bangkok

Yesterday I left Chiang Mai and arrived in Bangkok. I rented an apartment here and plan to stay for two weeks. Right now, I don’t have any plans for this week. I don’t want to go for a walk because it’s 30 degrees outside — I’m just sitting inside my apartment under the air conditioner.

Also yesterday, it took me 2–3 hours to get to my apartment because I couldn’t understand how the train system in Bangkok works. It was very difficult and stressful — I made three transfers and rode the red, blue, and green lines. I think I tried all the lines... maybe. Next time, I’ll just take a taxi.
